He's a Super Model
New project as of this past weekend. I put my foot down and took the BF to the LYS to pick out yarn for a sweater for him. We've been together 3 years and I still haven't made him a sweater. Mitts and toques and scarves a plenty to be sure, but no sweater. Partially from fear of the boyfriend sweater curse, and partially because I haven't found a pattern (or thought one up) that would suit him. I finally found one in the Summer 2006 issue of IK. The Cambridge Jacket (CJ). I'm really excited about this one because it knits up quick and the yarn is so, so nice! I'm using Cascade Yarns 100% Peruvian Highland Wool. I really love this wool so I'm glad I picked some up for a sweater for myself too! I am modifying the CJ design by adding yellow skull and cross bones on the arms. Even though I'm just finished the back piece, I can already tell this was the right choice of pattern. Curse be damned, It's gonna look hot.

Don't even worry about the boyfriend sweater curse. I've already made a sweater for my BF and he loves it! Pretty much the fact that he loves it is all I need.
By the way, I love that pattern! I'm sure your BF will love it too!
The Flame's still around so I'm not a believer in the BF curse. Looks great so far and I can't wait to see the skull & crossbones!
